I’m really enjoying the Strangers series so far. The world is strange to say the least, and I can’t help thinking of some great SF novels I’ve read in the past (Pushing Ice by Alastair Reynolds first came to mind, followed by the Rama sequels by Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee).

It also shows off QAGS ability to be the system for a fairly serious SF story. Good job, gang!

    1. Al says:

      Hey, thanks!

Glad you’re enjoying it despite the weirdness. Part of the idea of the game is to look at how people might react to an extremely unfamiliar environment, especially in a group of absolute strangers.
As for QAGS, I gotta say that while I’m still not using it to its full potential, I really like the system.
And my players really are the best for putting up with this and doing such a good job with it.
